A little Monday morning gratitude

Yesterday, I gave my first reading for Love and Other Natural Disasters, and I just have to thank all who attended and the phenomenal Book Passage bookstore.  What I’d hoped for came to pass: a lively, funny, vigorous discussion about not just the chapter I read, but about where we draw the line in our own relationships.  It felt more like facilitating a discussion than a Q & A in some ways. Getting to hear people react to the characters I’d written and using that as a jumping off point to explore larger issues of intimacy and monogamy was just a real treat.  We actually ran out of time.  It turns out “Wait, can I just ask one more question?” are some of the sweetest words in the English language.  I’m looking forward to my next two readings.  Please come out and participate!  Here are the details:
